Kaahnun karnain bhaal allah di janglan de vich ja ke;
Ang sang apne rab nun takko poora guru rijha ke. Sheeshe vich jyon saya rehanda gheo hai dudh vichale; Andar baahar rame raam nun poora guru vikhale. Bhaal bhaal ke duniyan thakki karni ne dam torhe; Maan khudi te akal di rassi khandi jaaye marorhe. Saukhe nun kahe duniyan aukha aukhe nun kahe saukha; Avtar guru poore de baajhon rab da pana aukha. |

O' man why do you go to forests and search for God there?
Please the True Master and see God always with you. Just as our reflection is there in glass and butter is there in milk; The True Master reveals God, all pervading, within and without. The world has exhausted itself in search of God, their rites and rituals have failed; The chord of man's own pride, ego and thought is getting twisted and becoming stronger and stronger. The world thinks the easy to be difficult and the difficult to be easy; Avtar says, it is difficult to realize God without the perfect True Master. |
Meaning
O'man why do you go to forests and search for God there? Please the True Master and see God always with you. Just as our reflection is there in glass and butter is there in milk. Similarly the True Master tells us how God is within and all around. The world has exhausted itself in search of God, their rites and rituals have failed. Man's own pride, ego and thought is getting twisted, still he has not been able to search God on his own. The world takes easy to be difficult and difficult seems easy. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, it is difficult to realize God without the perfect True Master.
